To All YPOWP Members,
This letter is to let everyone know that we are shutting down and YPOWP’s compensation service will cease immediately. Blizzard’s Director of Global Legal Affairs (Rod Rigole) has asked for us to close down immediately.
Dear Sirs,
I have been in contact with representatives for your site, namely George and Milos, in the past regarding your site and the infringement of Blizzard Entertainment's intellectual property. I just noticed that your site is back up and operational. As discussed, Blizzard takes objection to your site and the use of its data.
Please call me at your earliest convenience to discuss.

This is your last warning. If you do not immediatly cease using Blizzard's intellectual property, we will be forced to review all legal remedies available to us, including taking formal legal action.
We tried working things out but, apparently, our free compensation service is one that Blizzard does not like. We had hoped our service would go hand-in-hand with WoW as it offered an incentive to stay with the game even with downtime but we are afraid this is as far as YPOWP will get.
We would like to say thanks to all those who have supported us, and we feel great about those that we were able to help with free 30-day game time prizes. If you would like to express your thoughts on this decision, please feel free to email Blizzard. We will still have our forum open as well.
